A Look Back on 2017
2017 was a great year for Davenport Foundation Repair. We were able to serve customers across the state repairing foundations, waterproofing basements and crawlspaces and leveling concrete. We are thankful to be growing and thriving.
This year we added new work crews, new trucks and new products. In addition to growing our crews, we also increased our office staff adding an Office Assistant to help us keep up with the work flow that comes with a strong demand for repairs. Our wonderful Foundation Specialist Craig Williams retired in March. We welcomed a new Foundation Specialist Frank Hanson. Our entire team is the foundation to our growth and success.
One of our favorite new products is our 3/8 inch PolyLevel injection port. We are thrilled to be the only local company using 3/8 of an inch injection ports for our PolyLevel concrete lifting foam. This is a huge advantage for our customers as the holes drilled to inject the foam are much smaller than the holes other companies drill. Many other companies use 5/8 of an inch port or larger. The cosmetic repair, done after the concrete has been lifted, is minimal.
We have joined forces with the West Jordan Chamber of Commerce, the Association of General Contractors and the Home Builders Association of Utah to collaborate on reaching and serving more customers. We enjoy the partnerships we have with the members of these great associations. Being involved in the community is a top priority for Davenport. We have had the opportunity to support many great causes including Best Buddies, the Jordan Education Foundation and Sub for Santa. We are grateful to live in a generous area.
One of the most exciting changes we are looking forward to in the new year is moving to a new building. While we will still be located in West Jordan, UT, we are excited to have a larger space to conduct business. We look forward to helping more home owners and businesses with their foundation, waterproofing and concrete repair needs. We look forward to another year where we can continue to redefine our processes to become an even better company.
