Concrete Sidewalk Repair at Harriman, UT Public Library

This project showcases a concrete sidewalk repair completed at the Harriman Public Library in Harriman, Utah. Over time, sections of the sidewalk had become uneven due to soil movement and settlement, creating potential trip hazards for pedestrians and library visitors.

Before repairs began, affected concrete panels were carefully marked and the area was secured to ensure public safety during the process. The goal of the repair was to restore proper elevation, improve safety, and maintain ADA-friendly access without the need for full concrete replacement.

The completed repair resulted in a smooth, level walking surface that blends seamlessly with the surrounding concrete. This approach minimized disruption to the public while extending the lifespan of the existing sidewalk. Projects like this highlight the importance of proactive concrete maintenance for public spaces, especially in high-traffic areas such as libraries, schools, and municipal buildings throughout Harriman and the greater Salt Lake Valley.

Sidewalk Concrete Leveling at Harriman, UT Public Library

This before-and-after photo set highlights another section of sidewalk concrete repair performed at the Harriman Public Library in Harriman, Utah. The affected concrete panels had experienced settlement and slight separation at the joints, creating uneven walking surfaces and potential trip hazards for pedestrians.

Prior to repair, the work area was clearly marked and secured to protect the public while crews addressed the underlying issue. The focus of this repair was to restore proper slab alignment, improve joint consistency, and ensure long-term durability without removing or replacing the existing concrete.

After completion, the sidewalk surface was leveled and stabilized, resulting in a clean, even finish that maintains safe pedestrian access and meets the functional needs of a busy public facility. This project demonstrates how targeted concrete leveling solutions can extend the life of municipal sidewalks while minimizing disruption and repair costs in Harriman and surrounding Utah communities.

Concrete Corner Settlement Repair in Provo, UT Using PolyLevel & NexusPro

This before-and-after photo set highlights a concrete corner repair completed at a home in Provo, Utah, where settlement had caused separation between the concrete slab and the foundation corner. Over time, soil movement allowed the slab to sink, creating gaps that could allow water intrusion, further erosion, and long-term foundation concerns.

To address the issue, our team used PolyLevel® concrete lifting to stabilize and raise the settled concrete back toward its proper position. Once the slab was corrected, NexusPro® joint sealant was applied along the concrete-to-foundation joint to seal the gap, protect against moisture intrusion, and allow for natural expansion and contraction.

This repair not only improves the appearance of the concrete but also helps protect the foundation and surrounding soil from future damage. It’s a great example of how targeted concrete leveling and joint sealing can extend the life of flatwork and prevent more costly structural repairs in Utah’s shifting soil conditions.
